this thesis work demonstrates the exploration of an original thesis argument, in the form of a designed exhibition project. the project includes drawings and documentation of the exhibition experience, including graphic and lighting design, renderings, technology, and physical models, along with a research and design development document. emphasis is placed on creating a strong and compelling storyline, and retaining that narrative throughout each step of the design process, with a solid understanding of the client, venue, audience, and most importantly the visitor experience.
in december 2022, the FIT graduate exhibition & experience design department held a thesis adjudication event. industry professionals from all over the world joined us to have one-on-one interaction with the graduate students during thesis defense.
